History

The apartments were built between 1969 and 1971 on a site originally home to the Minnis Bay Hotel.

In 1965, The Minnis Bay Hotel had a total of 30 rooms, rented out at 25 shillings (£1.25) per person!

In the 1960's, the hotel was demolished and planning permission given for three blocks of flats, containing 66 apartments with garages and parking.
